主要从事哺乳动物分子细胞遗传学研究，熟练掌握组织块原代培养，中期染色体制备，探针标记，染色体涂色以及多色荧光原位杂技术。
主持国家青年基金项目：鼠兔属主要类群的比较染色体图谱构建及系统进化研究
